This helps us plan shots and assess lighting conditions. I would not recommend having your engagement session at your venue unless your heart is set on it. Why do a venue visit? Yes I can absolutely wait until the day of your wedding to see your venue for the first time. However, if we go to your venue beforehand I can get an idea of lighting. I can also help you with your ceremony spot if you do not already have it picked out. If it is a venue where they will take us around on golf carts, I would especially love a venue visit! This normally means it is a huge venue with lots of photo spots. Depending on your timeline, you may not be able to get photos at every single spot, which is why it is important for me to know your must haves beforehand.
