Group Shots

Hey there Lexington Kentucky lovebirds! Kat here, owner of Kat’s Photos LLC. Make a list of group shots you want, including family and friends. Having a list will keep the day flowing. I require a shot list to be turned into me at least 1 day in advance, 3 days if possible.

This is a great activity to do with your mother and mother-in-law. They will help you remember to get a shot with your Aunt Sally you haven’t seen since you were a child.

How do you write a shot list? No worries, I have an example below!

Example Shot List

  • Couple + Ring Bearer and Flower Girl
  • Couple + All extended family
  • Couple + Grandparents
  • Couple + Partner 1 Extended Family
  • Couple + Partner 1 Immediate Family
  • Couple + Partner 1 Parents Partner 1 + their parents
  • Couple + Partner 2 Extended Family
  • Couple + Partner 2 Immediate Family
  • Couple + Partner 2 Parents
  • Partner 1 + their parents
  • Partner 2 + their parents

For example, couple with one set of parents would be typed as: Jan, Dave, Maria, Trevor

If you have an announcer let them know they need to announce for all immediate family and wedding party members to hang back after the ceremony for photos.
